About

Act 16, otherwise known as the Medical Marijuana Program, was signed into law in Pennsylvania by Gov. Tom Wolf on April 17, 2016. Medical marijuana may be prescribed to treat patients who suffer from severe or intractable pain when opiate therapy is ineffective.
